A New Mythos: Nature, Evolution, Power! Chaos, Order!!
Authors Relevant Background
I started reading at four years old. I read Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit series for the first time at age 7. At 8 I read the Earths children series by Jean M Auel. These are just a few of the thousands of books, articles, and such I have ingested into my brain in five decades of Life. Google, YouTube, and the internet in general have only accelerated this.
After a long period in my youth of internalizing and creating chaos from deep complex trauma, the veil was lifted, but my actions were destructive. I failed to submit to order until it was enforced with consequence
I’ve been quietly trying to live a monastic work life since. Much like Odin, in this new fictional world, submitted to the Bodhisattva to learn to manage his god rage, I have spent many years trying to master the fiery anger spirit that resides in me.
I do not have much formal education beyond high school and some vocational training. I hope however that my life experience and self education pass muster in the final product.
After Five Decades of Input
In practicality I am a Buddhist. I love nature, mythology and pagan ritual to tell the story of the world. And I have read deep into the major religions and many minor or ancient cults that have shaped the world we live in today.
I have a deep understanding of human political systems. I read up regularly on history, science and health.
And now I have this calling to write this, to create this fictional world that can tie together the diverse mythology, history, and politics of the world and reforge these tales of humanitys Evolution into a modern progressive mythos we can all strive for. A world that contains the same paradoxes we live with today. The cycle of death and rebirth, the balance between order and chaos, the dance of dominance and submission. The only truth in the world: Life and Death.
We are all bound in submission to the current order of things by the nature of being born into it. We also have the power to resist as Mortja and the Executives have always resisted the stagnation of life in this new mythology.
Life(the current version) has its roots in the Carboniferous era of our planets history when life found its footing, but decay struggles to keep up.This is an expansion of human mythology back through deep time to the earliest sentience on the planet the fungal clans. It allows me to build a global mythology around the universal truth of the cycle of decay and rebirth.
Humans have developed many amazing cultures in our history and I wish to nod to some of these cultures, events, and people to explain the human story to the present and beyond and how we can all submit to being better.
I take some literary license in creating this tale, but I will try to make the concepts in science, history, and world events as close to correct current understanding as possible.
And Just So There is No Confusion
This is a fictional world that at least 25% of the American population that will hate in 2025. And I don’t care. Your time is almost up. Your rigid stagnant order is nearly done. You are the chaos that breaks the stagnant rigid global order opening the path for a better world.
AI Tools: Part of the Heathen Planet Mythology
I am using AI to help me create the Heathen Planet world. Before the anti AI mail starts, please know I may already agree with you. There are many pitfalls, however it’s here and not going away. For me it is a tool to be used for research and organization of thought. All research should be checked if you use AI. Support open source AI tools when you can.
Much like electricity can be used for execution and lighting, AI is a double edge sword. In this world Googles Gemini is acting as Mimmrs Well, the primordial pool of hard won wisdom made digital. I have run into a couple of interesting issues when asking Gemini to create specific images or documents that might be considered resistance to maga. The point is, that the work is mine refined with assistance from the newest gift of The Axemakers. (ad)
In memory of Alexandria
As I build this fictional world, I am also loading it with references and links to science, history, mythology, and culture to build a small library of human knowledge that can be accessed in a fun way. This site is intended to be a maze of corporate mythology about the jobs of balancing The Cycle of Decay and Rebirth in mythology, a place to take in human wisdom, digest it within a community, and a place to learn on a random path that you access in your own way.
Final Note: Dedicated to My Anchors
When I sat down to the keyboard to forge this world, I had two people in mind to base protagonist characters on who are my anchors in this life. Both are strong women who do good work in the world. I appreciate you both playing along with my silly questionnaires to fine tune your archetype characters. The inspired result is Mortja, successor to the Fungus Mother, and Dr. Alexandria Vesa, Prime Vessel to the Primordial Earth Mother. My deepest gratitude to you both. I hope you enjoy the resulting Heathen Planet!!
